Candle Care (Read me)
Keep the wick trimmed to ¼ inch (5mm) before each burn to prevent excessive smoke and soot, you can do so with a wick trimmer. Keep candles away from windows in case of drafts and away from anything flammable, you need to make sure your candle is placed on a flat, stable, and heat resistant surface! This is especially important for the Martini Cocktail Candles as they are easier to knock over! Make sure to keep out of reach of pets and children in case of the candle being knocked over, again especially important for the Martini Cocktail Candles. Always remember to extinguish your candle when leaving the room and NEVER sleep while your candle is still burning and make sure there is no glowing from the wick.
On the first burn, allow the wax to melt edge to edge to prevent tunnelling. The candle should not flicker but if it does it is best that you extinguish it and trim the wick as this can lead to a hazardous situation if not taken care of accordingly and in a timely manner. You should only burn candles for a maximum of 4 hours at a time to prevent overheating and whenever your done use a snuffer to put out the flame as blowing can cause wax splatter. You should NEVER pour water onto a burning candle to extinguish!
Stop using the candle when 1cm (½ inch) of wax remains to prevent glass overheating and cracking, and please make sure it is fully extinguished with no glow present from the wick!
